Both congee and chicken broth are excellent for boosting immunity in your kids, yourself and your family. You can make large batches ahead of time and freeze them, ready to go when you need them.
 
Congee is a traditional Chinese recipe made from rice and commonly eaten for breakfast, though you can eat it at any time of day.
 
Chicken broth or stock is slow-cooked so that the nutrients are extracted from the bones, giving you a tasty boost to your gut health to help ward off illness.
